Nick Cutts has built an extensive career in music management, working with a number of high-profile organisations across the classical music industry. He has served as General Manager of The Bach Choir and has also held roles with Milton Keynes City Orchestra, the Royal Opera House, English National Opera, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and Universal Music Publishing, developing a wealth of experience and industry connections along the way.
Nick studied performance (trumpet) and composition at Bath, and he continues to pursue both in his spare time.
In August 2017, Nick founded Alina Orchestra with the vision of creating a musical “resource” for everyone — an organisation dedicated to bringing music, and its associated wellbeing benefits, to all members of the community.
With musical interests that stretch from Bach and Mendelssohn, to Stravinsky and Roxanna Panufnik, Nick has an enduring passion for a wide range of repertoire. When he’s not working, he enjoys time with his beloved teenage son, sharing adventures and special moments with his partner, and cheering on Liverpool FC.
